Can you fall for someone you just met?

Can you fall for someone you just met? I thought when people fell inlove at first site it was shallow. I thought that they only cared about how the person looked and not what counts but that is totally wrong.
When I first moved to Shelton, I didn't know anyone. And I fell for one of the first people I met when starting SHS. I have learned to care for him and he has come to mean so much to me. I really do love him and it hurts so bad because he just wants to be friends. I know that's good because he is looking out for me. He doesn't want to see me get hurt but he can't see by protecting me, he is hurting me because I do care about him. I told a friend of mine this and it's true, " I do love him. I would do anything for him if I thought it would make him happy." And it's true I want him to be happy but I also want him to love me as more then a friend. I want him to need me like I need him.
I am growing close to him and it scares me. I swore after what Nash did to me that I wouldn't let a guy this close. But, Kyle worked his way into my heart and now I won't let him go. But, I need to know where this is going. I won't allow myself to make that mistake again. I need to know his intentions are true...Hell, I need to know what his intentions are!
Is it a good thing that when I see him my hearts beats faster? Is it a good thing that when he looks at me with that smile that he gets my knees get weak and I feel faint? I really do think I love him...But, how do you know for sure?

Disappointment, disillusion, Dispair, Confusion...

Today went pretty well...I guess... I had a dream last night that I was alone...And I heard a voice. It was God. He said to me, "Kyle isn't worth it, Whitney. He will just cause you hurt and pain and you don't need it." I responded to him by saysing, "I know you are God and I know that I have to trust in what you are saying but I have to know why. What is he going to do?" And that was the end of my dream and I am confused. I mean I know it was just a dream but there had to be some point to it...Right? But, how could he hurt me? He has been so good to me already! When I am around him I feel like I am walking on air! And when I talk to him my eyes light up (and I am not joking either because people have told me). I care about him so much and I know he will NEVER hurt me...So what was with that dream? Is God telling me that he isn't the one? Oh, how I hope not!
And I am really confused about my future. I am in a pre-vet tech class and I am loving it but at the same time I am loving learning to show and am thinking about being a pro-handler...The choices how does one ever decide? Please some words of advice? And I have been praying...

To someone Special...

I had honestly GIVEN up. I didn't believe in LOVE, MAGIC, or FAIRYTALES anymore. I didn't think guys were CAPABLE of loving me. Then, I MET you and you CHANGED my mind with just one CONVERSATION. But, it HURTS so much because I WANT you so bad and can't seem to make you REALIZE we were destined to be so much more. I heard you when you said that you LIKE me but that isn't enough to make my HEART satisfied. I WANT to take my TIME and now that you are MINE forever!

So I was in a good mood last night and ended up righting a poem for someone very special!

Today went really well for me! I met some friends and am starting to feel like Shelton is home! I still miss you guys terribly and that will never change but at least it has eased some!

Update

So pretty much my life is going great! I met a guy over here and he is sweet and nice! Simply amazing! He is caring and trusworthy...Everything Nash wasn't! He made me open up and I feel so safe around him! I know he won't hurt me and I love that I can trust him. I had a talk with him the other day and he told me that he likes me! And sometime in the future we will try the dating thing but right now we are content with being friends!! But, when I see him I get excited! It's funny I almost gave up. I really thought that guys weren't capable of loving me. I thought maybe I wasn't meant to fall in love. I thought that there was no magic, love or fairytale for me, that no PRINCE would RESCUE me and then a long comes Kyle and changes everything and all he had to do was say hi. He has my heart. I didn't have a choice, and I know he won't break it!
